Florida does not publish one statewide passing score — ETS lists qualifying scores by school district, currently spanning 440 to 464. ETS states that qualifying scores are set by the state or school district, not by ETS. The ETS test-taker state requirements page and the ParaPro State Requirements table are the lists to print before you register.

Teaching certificate vs Florida Statute 1012.37
Florida Statute 1012.37 lets district boards appoint education paraprofessionals without a teaching certificate when they work under a certified teacher. Bring the statute citation to HR when a posting implies a professional educator certificate. Registration still follows the district’s chosen assessment — see registration and test day.
Title I three-path screen
Title I instructional paraprofessionals still need the federal academic screen: diploma plus two years of higher education, an associate degree or higher, or a rigorous reading/writing/math assessment. What is the passing score for the Florida paraprofessional test?
Florida does not publish one statewide ParaPro cut score. ETS State Requirements lists Florida agencies individually (examples: Orange County Public Schools 440, Brevard / Collier / Duval / Manatee / Pasco / Sarasota 457, St. Lucie 460, Consortium 464). Ask your hiring district which row applies before you schedule Test 1755.
Do I need a Florida teaching certificate to work as a paraprofessional?
No. Florida Statute 1012.37 says a district school board may appoint education paraprofessionals and that an education paraprofessional shall not be required to hold a teaching certificate while working under a certified teacher.
What Title I rules still apply in Florida?
Instructional paraprofessionals in Title I programs must hold a high-school diploma (or equivalent) and meet one of three screens: two years of higher education, an associate degree or higher, or a rigorous formal assessment of reading, writing, and mathematics assistance — the path most districts fill with ParaPro. Translators and parent-involvement-only staff need only the diploma equivalent.
Is Consortium 464 the Miami-Dade or Broward score?
No. ETS lists a Florida row labeled Consortium at 464. Miami-Dade, Broward, and Hillsborough are not named on that table. Treat 464 as the Consortium listing until your district HR names a different row.
